Susan Boyle Tipped To Sing Bond 23 Anthem

Over the years the James Bond movie franchise has seen many singers, bands and musicians take on the task of singing the films title song. Artists ranging from Paul McCartney and Wings, Duran Duran and Madonna have all had a crack at immortality through performing the Bond movie theme song.

None however have ever really been able to match or top the bang up job that three time Bond artist  Dame Shirley Bassey, who first thrilled bond fans with her souring rendition of Goldfinger.

However, it looks like Dame Shirley Bassey could yet meet her match in Britons Got Talent runner up Susan Boyle who shot to international fame earlier this year when she sang an emotionally charged rendition of the Les Miserables song ‘I Dreamed a Dream’.

In a recent interview Bond composer Monty Norman told the Sunday Express: “She has the right kind of sweeping voice.”

Bond 23, which is due out in 2011, will see Daniel Craig exercise his license to kill for the third time.
