More casting news broke yesterday for some of the new series that will grace the fall schedule of 2009 across the pond in the USA.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that former Firefly and Stargate Atlantis actor Morena Baccarin will take on the lead role Anna, the leader of the Visitors who is remarkably knowledgeable about human culture and media manipulation much like Diana was in the original 1980s mini series.
Playing the lead in the new CW series The Vampire Diaries will be Bulgarian-born Canadian Nina Dobrev. Vampire centres on Elena (Dobrev), a tragic heroine who is the object of passion for two vampire brothers. The series will likely appeal to fans of the recent movie Twilight.
