Erin Gray who is best known to genre fans as the in control Colonel Wilma Deering from the hit seventies series Buck Rogers In The 25th Century is once again in control. Only this time for real.

According to a report at Weirdandbeard the actress who happens to run Heroes For Hire, which is an agency, which brings television heroes and cult television personalities to Sci-Fi Conventions around the world is now trying her hand at casting.

The former model turned actress has recently signed on in the role of casting director for an exciting new web project titled The Cabonauts, which is a science fiction musical comedy series, which will run for a proposed 15 – episodes. The series will follow various passengers on their way to intergalactic destinations.

The Cabonauts is being produced in partnership with independent web video entertainment site Dailymotion, and Erin Gray may well bring some of her Heroes For Hire clients into the fray to work on the production.

“Life is a great adventure, and it’s thrilling to be a part of such a fun creative and wacky enterprise as The Cabonauts,” Erin enthused.

Beyond her career as an actress and high powered business woman. Erin has become a well known force in promoting health awareness and spiritual well being. She even teaches a regular class in the ancient eastern art for of T’ai Chi, and is able to aim her classes for all levels, and her brief classes at SciFi Conventions around the world are always a popular draw with fans.

Erin joins a team aiming to bring a new level of production quality to short form video entertainment. In addition to Heroes for Hire bringing a guest star lineup to the series, the CGI, graphics and sound will be provided by top professionals possessing extensive TV and movie backgrounds.

Created by Evil Global Corp. and its principal Hayden Black, creator and star of the award-winning, critically acclaimed web comedy series Goodnight Burbank and Abigail’s Teen Diary, the series’ first season will include up to 15 episodes, each having their first run exclusively on Dailymotion.

Production on the series is underway.
