New ‘Galactica’ Web Series To Tell Adama’s Backstory
Written by Ian Cullen on July 30, 2010 – 10:01 am -It seems that there’s no end to the spin-offs from Ron Moore’s re-imagined Battlestar Galactica series, and the latest one looks like it could well tell fans some of Admiral Adama’s backstory.
According to a report found at blastr.com via The Chicago Tribune, this new series, which is being produced as part of Syfy Channel’s web content, is to be called Battlestar Galactica: Blood And Chrome.

Moore And Eick Optimistic About ‘Caprica’s’ Future

Both creators Ronald D. Moore and David Eick are confident that Caprica, the Battlestar Galactica prequel series, will get a second season on SyFy.
During a panel on the show at Comic-Con, Moore said, “I firmly believe we’ll be back.” He noted that the second half of the first season is really when the program really “hits its stride.”

‘Eureka,’ ‘Sanctuary’ Bring On Genre Guest Stars

Both Syfy hit shows Eureka and Sanctuary will be revving up genre fan interest by bringing actors and actresses on board known to sci-fi aficianados across the globe.
According to daemonstv.com, Felicia Day (Dollhouse, Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog) will appear in ten episodes of Eureka. She appeared during the show’s panel at Comic-Con, indicating that she may be a love interest for Wil Wheaton’s character, Dr. Isaac Parrish.
