Recasting Khan Fraught With Difficulty

One thing that has been coming up consistently with regard to the second of J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies is the suggestion that we could see Khan make a return to the Star Trek Universe. In a recent interview for MTV Abrams admitted that recasting Khan would be a huge task.
Abrams didn’t confirm if Khan would make an appearance in the second of his Star Trek movies, but he does feel that should they go down that path. It would be extremely hard to find an actor with the same charismatic magnetism as Ricardo Montalban who originated the role.

Pine Beaming Into Clear And Present Danger

It looks like actor Chris Pine who helped breath new life into J.J. Abrams reboot of Star Trek may be involved in another reboot for Paramount.
According to trade paper Variety plans are in development to resuscitate the Jack Ryan movie franchise, which kicked off in the 1990’s with The Hunt For Red October.
