‘Sherlock’ Actor Turned Down ‘Doctor Who’ Role?
Written by Ian Cullen on July 28, 2010 – 10:07 am -This weekend when watching the modern interpretation of Sherlock Holmes, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role, I couldn’t help but think that there was something “Doctorish” about how Cumberbatch was portraying the iconic detective.
It would seem I’m not the only one to pick up on this.

Fan Film Friday: Doctor Who: ‘Victimsight’
Written by Randy Hall on July 16, 2010 – 12:15 pm -“In light of the evidence brought forth, this court has no alternative but to find the defendant, the Doctor, guilty of murder in the first degree!”
Those are the first words spoken during an independent production based on the Doctor Who series entitled “Victimsight.”
It’s easy to see that this film was inspired by the David Tennant years of the world’s longest-running science-fiction program, with the Doctor (Graham Steeksma) doing everything from wearing a long brown coat to making the hair on the front of his head stand at attention.

Imogen Poots Joins ‘Fright Night’ Cast
Written by Ian Cullen on June 24, 2010 – 9:03 am -
Since it was announced last year, the remake of Fright Night has had many tongues wagging in fan circles, especially from those like myself who remember how perfect the original film managed to spoof many of the horror tropes of the day.
Since then, much has happened with the production, and the casting on the remake looks to be shaping up quite nicely.
