Tubular Televsion: Supernatural Wars

Let’s take one last look back at January before we launch into February, which is a “sweeps” period in the States:

1.  Supernatural, “Swap Meat,” written by Andrew Dabb and Daniel Loflin, and directed by Robert Singer.

Here’s the synopsis of the episode: “While the brothers are on a case, Sam is targeted by a high school student who has learned a body-switching spell. Dean discovers his brother is now more interested in getting drunk and hitting on women, while Sam has to deal with the teenager’s home and school life.”

I haven’t talked about this program much, but over the years, it has become a “must-watch” show for me.  It has gotten better every year, in my opinion. Read more »

Marvel To Unveil Their Best Comic Titles

Marvel Comics have announced plans for a new line of comics, which will spotlight the premier issues of some of their best ever titles.

The Marvel’s Greatest Comics imprint has five titles announced so far, with each going on sale for $1 (61p).

Marvel Spins Out Plans For Theme Park

For sometime now plans have been in the works to produce a theme park based around some of Marvel Comics’ signature characters, which involve Spider-Man, Iron Man and The X-Men, and if the merger between Marvel and Disney doesn’t wreck things we’ll likely see this park pop up sometime in 2012.

However, it will not be easy to get to if you live here in the UK or out in America because according to Digital Spy the park will cost an estimated 1 billion dollars to build and is to be based in Dubai. Read more »
