The Review: Sins Of The Father brings forth one of Merlins more epic episodes of the season, and brings Arthur into direct conflict with his father Uther.

In Review: Merlin – The Witchfinder (Season Two – Episode Seven)

Synopsis: When a citizen of Camelot witnesses a magical mist of smoke that produces a horse Uther calls in the Witchfinder to unearth a suspected sorcerer in his court.
The Review: After weeks of episodes focusing on individual characters. This episode gets back to the ensemble storytelling, which was a key to the shows success during the first season. The story picks up due to some stupidity on the part of Merlin who is practicing some magic for the fun of it on the grounds of Camelot and is spotted by a villager. In Review: Merlin Beauty And The Beast Part Two (Season Two, Episode 6)

Synopsis: Newly crowned Queen Catrina settles in as Camelot’s first lady. As he true troll nature surfaces, her influence over Uther increases.
The Review: This was a fun conclusion to Merlin’s first two part adventure. While last weeks episode focused on the setting up of the wedding that should never have been, and introducing us to the relationship between Sarah Parish’s Troll/Lady Catrina and King Uther. This concluding episode sees the focus shift more to young Arthur. Read more »
