‘Fringe’ Producer Wants Nimoy Back

Death is never permanent in science fiction. So it is entirely possible that, even though William Bell was killed in the second season finale of Fringe, he could return to again be portrayed by Leonard Nimoy.

According to digitalspy.com, Producer Jeff Pinkner told a panel audience at the recent Comic-Con: “Should we be able to convince him to come out of retirement again, we have another story in mind for William Bell.”

Hallmark Already Beaming ‘Trek’ Ornaments Into 2011

So you haven’t bought your Star Trek ornaments for this year’s holiday season yet? Well, don’t worry–Hallmark is already planning for next year, according to trekmovie.com.

It should come as no surprise that there will again be three new Trek Keepsake Ornaments. You can check them out below, all illustrations are from the trekmovie.com website.

The ship ornament will feature the Romulan Warbird, complete with lights:

Of course, long-time fans will recognize this as the ship the alien race used during the early seasons of Star Trek … that was, until the model was accidentally broken. Since making another one was too expensive, the Romulans started using Klingon Birds Of Prey, which saved the show a lot of money and caused the two foes of the Federation to occasionally work together. Nimoy Says, ‘Live Long And … Visit The Revamped Startrek.com Website’

Until its unexpected demise several years ago, startrek.com was a “must visit” for Trekkies and “mundanes” alike. It was a terrific resource for those of us who need an occasional boost in the memory banks about what happened in which episode, and who played which character.

Well, now it’s back!

According to ontheredcarpet.com, the official Star Trek website is once again ready to beam into your computer! And what is special to many fans is the welcome you get from Leonard Nimoy, who has portrayed Spock for decades.
