Could J.J. Abrams Make Superman Soar Again?
Written by Wayne Hall on October 29, 2009 – 12:15 pm -
Could the man who revitalized the Star Trek franchise do the same for the Man of Steel?
It might happen, especially since J.J. Abrams, before he became a recognized name, did in fact draft a script for Superman. And he wants to work with the character!
“Writing that script was a long process. It was a very passionate character for me,” Abrams said recently. “As a kid growing up, it meant a lot to me. It would be wonderful and fun to see that brought back. I don’t know what Warners is thinking or what their plan is. It would be a blast … . No one has talked to me about it. Obviously I’m sure Warner Brothers has a plan for what they want to do.”

Warner Ditch Plans For He-Man Movie
Written by Ian Cullen on September 12, 2009 – 11:00 am -
It looks as though Warner Bros no longer have the power. Certainly not when it comes to the planned reboot of Masters Of The Universe, which is the popular 80s series that featured He – Man, who was based on the Mattel toy line.
Apparently Warner Bros and Mattel who were partnering on the movie have decided to call it a day. Meaning that Castle Grey Skull is safe once more, and will remain where it belongs. In the 80s.

Johnson Retains Creator Credit For ‘V’
Written by Ian Cullen on September 4, 2009 – 10:00 am -
This week saw production halt on the new Scott Peters re-imagining of Kenneth Johnson’s landmark television mini series ‘V’, which was shut down to allow the writers a little extra time to streamline the stories for the series.
As reported last week there has been some legal wranglings with regards to whether or not Kenneth Johnson should retain a creators credit on the new series. Johnson’s credit as creator of ‘V’ was retained earlier this week when the WGA ruled in his favour despite Warner Bros claim that their version of the series was so different that they needn’t credit Johnson’s name as series creator.
