Alan Moore No Longer Interested In Superheroes

Comic book legend Alan Moore may well have announced his retirement from the world of mainstream comics, but this mere technicality hasn’t discouraged him from discussing what he has gone on record for saying is a dying industry.

Speaking in a new interview for The Stool Pigeon, the Watchmen creator revealed that current day superhero comics are at odds with how he saw those characters as a child.

Haley Debunks Green Lantern Rumours

Actor Jackie Earle Haley has been making a name for himself of late by playing iconic villains and anti heros. Haley helped kick off the 2009 summer movie season as Rorschach in the big screen adaptation of the hit DC Comic Watchmen.

His performance as Rorschach helped Haley secure the role of Freddie Kruger in the rebooted Nightmare On Elm Street, and pretty soon television veiwers will get to see him play the role of Guerrero in the forthcoming Fox television series Human Target, which is also based on a DC Comic book title.

Are We Ready For More Godzilla?

Some of those Hollywood types seem to think so.

The last time we were treated to a westernized movie adaptation of Godzilla was in 1998 when Roland Emmerich didn’t exactly thrill the critics or many moviegoers with his adaptation of the popular Japanese Monster.
