’50 Shades Of Grey’ star Jamie Dornan could well be swapping his whips and bondage gear for some shades of green.
According to new reports from Hollywood Reporter Dornan is in talks for a role in the forthcoming ‘Robin Hood: Origins’ movie. It isn’t the title role. That has already been taken by Taron Egerton.
‘Robin Hood: Origins’ is the latest take on the England’s legendary outlaw and is coming from the folks at Lionsgate.
Aside from Egerton, who nabbed the titular role. The rest of cast thus far is made up of Jamie Fox as Little John and Eve Hewson as Lady Marion. The movie is to be directed by Otto Bathurst.
If negotiations are successful Dornan will play Will Scarlet, who is known as the member of the band of Merry Men who is the hot-headed wearer of fine clothes and best swordsman of the bunch. In this version, however, he is Marian’s husband, who will be none too happy when he learns that she loves the outlaw. You see already it is sounding like ’50 Shades Of Robin Hood’.
A January start in Budapest is being planned.
