Former ‘Eastenders’ star Adam Croasdell has been signed to play the role of Captain Hooks father in the current season of ABC’s hit series ‘Once Upon A Time.’
precise details on his role are being kept under wraps, but executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis recently announced his arrival at NYCC, where they divulged that an episode prior to the show’s winter break would delve into Hook’s (Colin O’Donoghue) past.
All we do know about Hooks father at present is the fact that he abandoned his son.
Some speculation however has Hooks father being pegged as infamous pirate Davy Jones. This guess is fueled by the fact that Hooks real name in the series is Killian Jones.
Adam Croasdell is probably known best in the UK for his role of Dr AL Jenkins in the hit soap ‘Eestenders’, but since leaving that show he has made numerous television appearances on US Television in shows such as ‘Hot In Cleveland’, ‘Supernatural’, ‘Body Of Proof’ and ‘NCIS’.
Croasdell will make his first appearance on ‘Once Upon A Time’ toward the close of the first half of the new series.
