Christopher Nolan Not Apposed To Directing More Superhero Movies
The Dark Knight director said that while he has no immediate plans to direct anything from Marvel or DC Comics, it might be something he will consider in the future

Dark Knight trilogy directer Christopher Nolan, who has recently been doing press for his latest film ‘Interstellar’ has revealed that he would not be completely apposed to doing more superhero movies.
The Dark Knight director said that while he has no immediate plans to direct anything from Marvel or DC Comics, it might be something he will consider in the future.
While speaking to Time Out, he said: “I think I had a great experience with the superhero genre and got to explore a lot of things, but it was a good decade of my life and I find it hard to imagine returning to it.
“But never say never.”
Although Nolan feels that Superhero films are a limitless genre. He has hopes that the studios will continue to make room for none superhero stuff.
“Well, you know, as long as that’s the ride people want, the studios will continue to offer it. I don’t see it as a limited genre,” he continued.”If I did, I never would have worked for almost ten years in that genre. I think like any genre, like the Western, it has limitless opportunities. It’s just about the audience’s appetite.
“What’s very important is that the studios be open to making other sorts of films at the same time.”
Nolan’s latest movie the science fiction epic ‘Interstellar’ will be out in UK cinema’s on November 7.
