Nevada’s Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg, recently told TheWrap that Jerry Doyle, star of Micael J. Straczynski’s “Babylon 5” and founder of the news platform EpicTimes, died as the result of complications from chronic alcoholism.
Doyle died at age 60 this past July 27, 2016 with his manner of death ultimately being deemed as ‘natural.’ The actor was regrettably found to be unresponsive in his Las Vegas home by the time authorities arrived.
Apart from appearing in many different shows over the years including ‘Beverly Hills 90210,’ ‘JAG‘ and ‘Moonlighting‘ among many others, Doyle also hosted a nationally syndicated radio show entitled, ‘The ‘Jerry Doyle Show’ on the Talk Radio Network.
Jerry Doyle also ran for Congress in 2000 and wrote a book in 2009 entitled ‘Have you seen my country lately? America’s wake up call.’ But the actor was perhaps best known and well loved for his role as Michael Garibaldi on ‘Babylon 5’
In addition to his acting career, Doyle was also the host of a nationally syndicated radio program, “The Jerry Doyle Show,” on Talk Radio Network.
