The season four finale of ‘Game Of Thrones’ saw Arya left at a bit of an impasse due to the fact that Brienne of Tarth had pretty much slain The Hound, who for most of season four was both Ayra’s protector and kidnapper.
In a recent interview for The Guardian Maisie Williams who has played the part of Arya since the series began strongly hinted that season five could have a big ending for her character.
Season five of ‘Game of Thrones’ represents the end of the currently published novels in George RR Martin’s ‘Song of Ice and Fire series’.
“There’s a big ending for Arya,” Williams said. “They’re basically breaking her down, and you get to see behind the cracks.
“We’re coming to the end [of the published books] now, so I don’t know what they’re going to do next year. It’s the end of Arya, as far as anyone knows.”
Williams previously said that she would relish the chance to play Cersei Lannister.
