Synopsis: When they learn of an upcoming attack on the city, Team Arrow calls Roy Harper in to help them stop the Ninth Circle; things go awry and there is massive collateral damage; Dinah investigates what happened.

Review: Arrow takes on a little bit of a True Crime feel this week as the team is questioned over an operation, which goes horribly wrong.

The Story

When a raid goes horribly wrong and security guards are beaten to death. Team Arrow comes under scrutiny for the beatings and Dinah has to investigate and interrogate her fellow team members in order to keep things by the book. Meanwhile, Emiko who has killed Dante is still in charge of the Ninth Circle and has a very dangerous weapon that she plans to use to bring the City down.

The Acting

Juliana Harkavy puts in a solid performance this week as she has to help question her other team members about what went down. But for me, it is Danny Wattley as Sergent Bingsley who kind of steals the show and proves to be a real fawn in Oliver’s side. Especially when he goads Oliver about having served time.

Overall

This was a bit of a different pace of episode for the series and it had a True Crime feel to it as we see most of the individual team members questioned and provoked by the Police who are funneling to get to the truth of what happened.

I really found Felicity’s moments in the interrogation room to be pure comic relief as her pregnancy feeds her appetite for numerous snacks to munch on while she sidesteps the various questions that are being thrown at her.

The revelation at the end that it was one of the Team Arrow members that did the beatings though was a little bit of a disappointment.

Overall. A pretty solid episode, but also a little slow to get going.
