Synopsis: Oliver wakes up to a life in which his parents are alive and he is about to marry Laurel; Felicity faces a new threat with the help of The Flash and Supergirl.
Review: The third part of this DCU story arc sees team arrow and the legends pretty much living a life they have not known. But over time it feels a little to perfect and Oliver and the team slowly but surely begin to see some of the loose threads and pull on them a little.
Meanwhile at the Arrows base of operations Felicity and Curtis are trying to figure out where Oliver and the guys are being held and manage to find the location with a little help from Cisco and his vibe powers.
This episode insofar as Oliver had some ‘Its A Wonderful Life’ undertones to it insofar as it shows him his perfect life and what would have happened had he not chose to become a masked vigilante. And of course it saw him in the run up to marrying Laurel Lance. Who is dead in his real reality. So that there was probably a pretty big clue.
I loved the fact that Wild Dag, Rag Man and Steel from Legends Of Tomorrow finally got something to do in this arc. Even though it wasn’t really all that much.
There were no Flash Backs this week, but there was plenty of soap opera cliches to keep that element of CW’s audience happy.
The fight sequences were pretty damn cool and I enjoyed that we got to see Deathstroke pop up again in the dream sequence bits.
As ever it took the combined effort of Supergirl, The Flash and team the newer team members of Arrow to help Oliver and the others out. And Supergirl and The Flash really brought their A – Game when it comes to action.
- The Good: Seeing Deathstroke in action again
- The Bad: This was the episode where the story kind of sags in the middle.
