Review: This issue does a great job of wrapping up the story with a fun explanation of Parallel Universes from a certain Professor Albert Einstein.
Feeling somewhat shook up from having experienced five different versions of herself in five different universes. Bettie is rattled and needs some time and space to clear her head and help figure out what she went through. To that end, she is sent to Princeton University to meet up with and discuss her experiences with Albert Einstein. Things seem to be going swimmingly well when their meeting is interrupted by Russian Spies.
Taking over the art duties for this issue is Moy R who does a great job throughout the issue. Although I found her drawing of Einstien to be perhaps a little flattering of him when compared to old photographs of the great man.
The fight sequence towards the end of the issue is fantastic. Moy R really creates a great sense of movement to the sequence of panels in which Bettie has an epiphany.
This was a great issue. I loved how Bettie and the organization she works for are having to deal with the group of people she brought back with her from the other universe. But it’s seeing Bettie meet the great Albert Einstein, which makes up the best part of this issue. I can’t wait to see who she will meet in future issues.
