Review: This weeks legends comes with a few demonic twists.
Following up on the various story threads that this season. This episode deals a little more closely with Neron. The Demon that is responsible for having Nates father killed and has been taunting Constantine. Neron is proving to be somewhat of a challenge having put Ava into an unconscious state in hopes of using her as a vessel for another demon. But Sara has other ideas and with some help from Constantine and Nora. Sara goes on a trip into Ava’s subconscious mind, which takes the shape of a department store.
While Sara tries to guide Ava back to consciousness. Constantine and Nora hatch a plan to capture Neron and free the demon from the vessel in hopes of killing it.
It goes without saying that since Matt Ryan joined the cast as Constantine it has given us some idea of how awesome it would have been had Constantine not had been canceled. But this episode for me has some great moments for the actor and his scenes with Courtney Ford were great.
Also, a lot of fun were the scenes involving Sara and Ava as they have to work together to get out of Ava’s idea of purgatory, which is pretty much my idea of hell. Caity Lotz and Jes Macallan continue to share an amazing chemistry.
This was a fairly entertaining episode of Legends and had a fun twist at the end, which I kind of seen coming.
