Synopsis: Nancy and the Drew Crew follow the latest Lucy Sable murder lead, while simultaneously working to uncover the attempted murder of someone in their community.
Review: The spooky detective series continues and this week we see a crime reconstructed, which brings more answers.
Following up on the latest Lucy Sable lead. Nancy, Georgie, Bess, Nick, and Ace hatch a plan to reconstruct the events that led up to the murder of Tiffany Hudson in hopes that it would entrap Ryan Hudson, who they believed responsible. Instead, it leads to a new suspect who Nancy confronts and accidentally electrocutes during a struggle. But not before getting him to confess to the accidental murder of Tiffany Hudson. The poison was supposed to be for Ryan Hudson.
Stevie Lynn Jones makes a welcome return as Laura Tandy. The younger sister of Tiffany who is trying to put the death of her sister behind her by using her inheritance to move to Paris and hopefully take Ace with her. The scene where she forgives Nick and gets him to breathe with her is one of the episodes of lighter moments. It’s normally Maddison Jaizani that provides the comedy moments, but this week Bess had a slightly more serious storyline because of her role in the reconstruction being the means that accidentally provided Tiffany Hudson’s murderer with an opportunity to douse her salad with poison.
Another solid episode, which solves one of the two murders that the show has been focused on since the beginning. The final moments are jaw-droppingly good as we find that Tiffany’s killer has gone walkabout. Despite him looking rather fried and somewhat dead. His body is gone when the Police try to investigate the scene. I guess we’ll have to wait until next week to see what happened. But I can think of a few things that might have happened.
