From Image Comics and the Skybound Imprint, along with the creative team of Robert Kirkman (Creator) Andy Diggle (writer), Shawn Martinbrough (artist) and Adriano Lucas (color artist), Thief of Thieves #25 is a great last issue of the current story arch.
This issue concludes ‘The Hit List’ in a grand dance of death and violence in which Conrad Paulson, the comics main character nearly comes to the end of his career and life at the hands of the twisted and dangerous criminal boss known only as Lola.
What was fun about the last issue of Thief of Thieves, was finding out that Conrad’s family was not really murdered, as part of the Master Thief’s game plan to turn his enemies against themselves. All the while, the crafty Conrad is taking out his targets one by one, with the help of his estranged wife and somewhat inadequate son saving Conrad by the end of issues 26.
The best thing about this book however is the great story and plot twists by the books writer Andy Diggle, which is magnificently brought to life by the Master illustrator and Music & Art alumni Shawn Martinbrough, along with the rich and vibrant colors of Adriano Lucas.
This issue of Thief of Thieves is a must read as every panel is a joy to take in and will leave you hungry for the upcoming issue 26, which begins ‘The Kill List’ story line.
