The new episode of SFP-NOW has just dropped and features Star Trek expert Larry Nemecek who gives us the inside story of The Trek Files.
For those new to Star Trek. Larry Nemecek has been a fantastic resource over the years for his knowledge of all things Star Trek. Over the years he has written for Star Trek Magazine as well as the Star Trek Fact Files. In recent years he has also acted in a few of the Star Trek fan films and did an excellent turn as Dr. McCoy in Star Trek: Continues.
During our chat. Larry and I touch on a great many facets of Star Trek from his social commentary elements to how its technology has had an impact on modern day society to the political ideology of the show, which was, to begin with quite cleverly hidden in the guise of morality stories.
In the second hour of this extra-long episode. I am joined by Raissa to discuss the latest television shows we have been enjoying. Up for discussion, this time is Star Trek: Discovery, The Librarians and more.
You can learn more about Larry Nemecek’s new podcast The Trek Files at the shows facebook page where you can get all the latest up to date information on the show.
The Trek Files releases a new 15-minute episode on a weekly basis and takes that time to examine rare pieces of documentation from Gene Roddenberry’s own archives. Subscribers also have a little bit of an incentive to subscribe to the show, which is something you can learn more about by listening to this latest episode.
For the moment you can access all past episodes of SFP-NOW, GenreTainment and DC Action Hour here. We plan to transfer our domain over to our new hosting package in the next day or so.
