‘Gotham’ is about to get a little bit badder because joining the cast for a guest stint is ‘Breaking Bad’ actor Michael Bowen who played the role of Uncle Jack in the hit series is to play Patrick ‘Matches’ Malone, a figure seemingly responsible for one of Gotham City’s most notorious killings.
Bowen will pop up as Matches after the winter break.
The choice of character name is particularly interesting because Matches Malone has traditionally been a moniker used by Bruce Wayne while infiltrating the underworld in DC Comics.
In the world of Gotham, young Bruce believes that Matches Malone could be responsible for the murder of his parents.
Lori Petty who is best know at present for her role in ‘Orange Is The New Black,’ but also known for her portrayal of ‘Tank Girl’ is to play a criminal consort who provides young Bruce with some key information in his quest for vengeance.
Her character Jeri is the eccentric hostess of an underground club where Gotham City’s undesirables gather to indulge their blood lust.
Gotham returns from its winter hiatus in early 2016.
