New SciFi Series starring Tamsin Greig, Tuppence Middleton, Sylvester McCoy, Robert Picardo…

NEW science fiction podcast series! As with our previous production The Minister of Chance, it's wholly funded by its fans.

A new star-studded podcast series from The Minister of Chance team

“Nothing can travel faster than light” – Albert Einstein, 1918 A.D.

“With our thoughts we make The World” – Gautama Buddha

Einstein said that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. In the near future, a probe does just that. On Earth, the crew of the oceanographic research vessel Venus begin to experience the side-effects of this impossible event: a passing brigantine spews murder from its hold; strange creatures roam the seas; and the crew are shocked to learn that their chief scientist is dead (no-one more so than the Chief Scientist). Only an American rescue ship can help, though it may not be from the America we know…

The series will be the most advanced audio production ever made, using a panoply of new 3D, psychoacoustic and secret techniques to create a podcast like no other audio drama. It features a stellar cast including Tamsin Greig (Episodes); Thorbjørn Harr (Vikings); Sylvester McCoy (The Hobbit); Tuppence Middleton (Sense8); Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager); Karim Saleh (Iron Man 3); Heida Reed (Poldark); George Blagden (Vikings); Jed Brophy (The Hobbit) and more TBC.

Please help! No studio, national broadcaster, government or any other criminal enterprise finances this production. It is entirely crowdfunded by its audience. In return for donations, fans can choose from an imaginative and exciting range of rewards including: naming a character; speaking a line; visiting the studio; t-shirts, hats, keyrings and badges; sponsoring scripts and even having their name read out in the credits by the actors!
