Florida has yet another amazing convention to offer the pop culture and multi genre fan, the Pensacola Comic Con; which will begin Friday, February 27th, and lasting until Sunday, March 1st, 2015.
Pensacon 2015 is an all-inclusive pop culture convention for the well versed and diverse fan community, which spans many genres including comics, anime, sci-fi, horror, gaming, and fantasy. So no matter whom you are and what your tastes are, Pensacon 2015 will indeed have something for you!!!
Pensacon’s most popular attraction, like most other conventions is the very diverse list of celebrity guests, who are of course available to sign autographs, take photos, and most importantly, meet and interact with the fans. Many fans will recognize a great many of the media celebrities listed to attend, such as Sean Gunn from Guardians of the Galaxy, Nichelle Nichols and Marina Sirtis of Star Trek fame, as well as Colin Baker who served as the sixth Doctor Who and Time-Lord himself from 1981 to 1984.
The convention will also feature a slew of other science fiction and related genre celebrities such as Michael Biehn (Terminator), Tony Todd (Candy Man, DS9, B5), Mira Furlon (Babylon 5, Lost), Garret Wang (Voyager), David Warner (Tron, Star Trek, Dr. Who, ect), Doug Bradley (Hellraiser), Herb Jefferson (Battlestar Galactica), Noah Hathaway (Battlestar Galactica, Never Ending Story), Felix Silla (Buck Rogers, Adams Family, Star Wars), Jeremy Bulloch (Star Wars, Dr. Who), Lisa Loring (Adams Family), Linda Harrison (Planet of the Apes), as well as a full line up of Power Rangers actors eager to meet their fans.
Aside from television and movie actors, Pensacon will also feature well known comic book artists and writers such as the legendary Neil Adams, Larry Hama, Kevin J. Anderson, as well as the incredibly talented Dave Dorman. The show also promises other creative types, spanning across a wide variety of fandoms and generations including wrestling stars such as the unforgettable Sgt. Slaughter.
So it is easy to see how Pensacon easily has something for everyone and the fun promised by this show will simply be out of this world! But aside from an amazing guest list, Pensacon attendees will also be able to browse and purchase pop culture collectibles, comics, and a slew of other genre related merchandise on the convention floor from many different vendors.
Convention goers will also have the opportunity to sit in on many exciting interactive panels with celebrities, informational genre workshops and film screenings, participate in many contests such as the costume and cosplay contest, which is always fun. But most importantly those folks attending Pensacon will possibly most greatly benefit from the diverse interaction with their fellow fans and convention attendees as well as knowing that their attendance and participation helped the convention’s official charities, Manna Food Pantries and One Blood.
