Rupert Everett and Matthew McNulty have been cast as new villains for the third series of ‘The Musketeers’, which will premier next year on BBC One.
Both actors will be following in the foot steps of Peter Capaldi and Marc Warren who caused all manner of problems for our heroes in the first and second season.
Everett has been cast as Philippe Achille, Marquis de Feron – illegitimate brother to Louis XIII (Ryan Gage) and the corrupt Governor of Paris.
McNulty will play Lucien Grimaud, a money lender and vicious criminal who goes up against the Musketeers.
The pair will join returning cast members Luke Pasqualino, Tom Burke, Howard Charles, Santiago Cabrera, Hugo Speer, Ryan Gage, Alexandra Dowling and Tamla Kari.
The third series began production in Prague in April.
