Fans of ‘Continuum’ will recognise child star Sean Kyer as Camerons young son in the hit series.

Over the course of his young career he’s snagged roles in such well known series as ‘Supernatural’, ‘Falling Skies’ and more besides.

The young actor managed to get some positive buzz from his recent performance as Agent Oscar in the daytime television show ‘Odd Squad’. So positive that he has wound up been a nominee for an Emmy and most recent is a nomination for the prestigious Canadian acting award the Leo.

At the tender age of 15 Kyer has notched up a resume that consists of over 22 acting credits. Three of which have been recurring or leading roles.

Kyer played the role of Sam Cameron in the science fiction detective and time travel show ‘Continuum’. A role which he played on and off throughout that shows entire run. He also had a leading role in the Hallmark series ‘When Calls The Heart’, which is very much a show inspired by the classic ‘Little House On The Priory’ series.

Throughout his young career the only thing that Sean Kyer has notched up more of than acting roles is award nominations. Sean has received 10 Young Artist nominations over 5 years (2 of those ensemble nominations) with 2 wins, 2 Young Entertainers Award nominations with 1 win, 9 Joey nominations over 2 years (3 ensemble) with 4 wins, a Daytime Emmy nomination, and this year’s Leo nomination for Agent Oscar will be his 5th in 4 consecutive years.

We here at SciFiPulse wish Sean all the best for these latest nominations and will be hoping he does well.

The Leo Awards will take place later this month.
