UK Satellite Broadcaster Sky One has collaborated with comic book legend Stan Lee on a new series called ‘Lucky Man,’ which stars James Nesbitt as the title character.
The series centres on Harry Clayton, a London detective possessing a special charm that imbues him with fantastic luck, according to The Guardian.
The 10-part series, based on an idea by Lee, will also star Eve Best (The Honourable Woman), Sienna Guillory (Luther), Amara Karan (The Darjeeling Limited) and Darren Boyd (Fortitude).
Lee said: “Luck has always been a fascinating subject to me, and I am excited to finally share that fascination with audiences around the world. With all the creative projects I have worked on, I sure am a lucky man myself.”
92-year-old Lee – a veteran of Marvel Comics – is best known for co-creating such iconic characters as Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Hulk.
Lucky Man will be made by ‘Downton Abbey’ producer Carnival Films, in partnership with Lee’s POW! Entertainment.
